How to maintain good mental health?
What is important is that we are aware of area/s that may be causing anxiety/stress/unhappiness to us and that we take steps to cope/deal with it/them
Good Self Esteem

preferably no but minimum nicotine use.
Balanced Diet See MHI leaflet “Managing your Mental Health”
High Self Esteem When we have high self esteem:
We can live comfortably with both our strengths and weaknesses because We accept and respect ourselves.
We have the ability to feel secure
Trust ourselves and others
Accept credit for what we do
Respect ourselves and others
You can improve your Self Esteem by:
Setting regular achievable goals by deciding what you want. Be realistic.
Developing positive attitudes
Taking Time out for yourself
You are responsible for your own life and everything in it, including your own happiness. Develop flexibility in your thinking. Avoid rigid thinking “all or nothing”, ‘black and white,’ Rigid thinking with an over emphasis on ‘should’, ‘must’, ‘ought’ and ‘can’t’ can inhibit us and lead to low self esteem.
And Good Mental Health is knowing:
Everyone is Imperfect Time with people who make you feel good is time well spent Team work get things done Talking about your troubles is ok This too will pass Put First Things First “Things which matters most must never be at the mercy of things which matter least.” Goethe
